PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance detection sensitivity in electrophoresis using microchip. SOLUTION: In order to illuminate a predetermined range of a separation flow path 55 of a microchip 5, a light from a light source 1 extending linearly in parallel to the separation flow path 55 is brought into the separation flow path 55 through a cylindrical lens 2 and a band pass filter 3. The light penetrating the separation flow path 55 of the microchip 5 is brought into a photocell array 7 and detected through a cylindrical lens 6. The measurement is carried out repeatedly and integrated. |
