PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To constitute the infrared-ray device which is able to perform burst transfer by controlling the reading and writing of data from and to a data buffer by using a timer circuit or decoding circuit. SOLUTION: The timer circuit 18 or decoder circuit is used to control the writing of data stored sequentially in a data buffer circuit 14 and sweeing-out operation using a DMA circuit 15. For SIP reception, direct writing to a carrier sense interrupt or data buffer circuit 14 is performed through a carrier latch circuit, which is recognized to know the presence of other links. Consequently, a device which supports burst transfer can be constituted. Therefore, this device is applied to a system which has high performance at the time of burst transfer like a PCI bus to obtain high transfer efficiency, and the total throughput of the system is improved. |
