PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector which can prevent the removal of a fixing metal fitting from the main body of a receptacle, even though the main body of the receptacle is twisted in the condition a plug is inserted. SOLUTION: In this connector, a receptacle 1 in which signal posts 12 having contacts, and signal contacts are provided in parallel to a main body 11 respectively, and a plug, are provided, and while the main body 11 leads out the contacts 12b of the signal posts 12 connected to a printed board, slits 11e connected to through holes 11d are provided at a bottom 11a, and one side piece 13a of each fixing metal fitting 13 which has the other side piece 13b projecting from the one side piece 13a is inserted to a through hole 11d by its one end, while the other side piece 13b led out from the bottom 11a is fixed to the printed board. In this case, each slit 11e of the main body 11 has a side wall 11f and bas a cutting 11g cut in the orthogonal direction of the inserting and removing direction to the side wall 11f, and each fixing metal fitting 13 bas a locking piece 13c to lock with the side wall 11f at the opposite side of the inserting and removing side. |
