PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the use of a memory card having a narrow width out of the standard so as to effectively use the memory card by installing an adapter in a latch part of a memory card having a narrow width so as to form a latch part having the same width with a memory card having a wide width. SOLUTION: A memory card 100A at 150P having a wide width at 70mm is formed with 150 contact pads 103 in both surface of one edge 101 thereof, and a notch 104 in a central part thereof and nearly semicircular latch receiver parts 106 in both sides thereof. A memory card 100B at 144P having a narrow width at 67.6mm is formed with 144 contact pads 103 in both surfaces of one edge 101 thereof. The notch 104 and the latch receiver part 106 are formed in the memory card 100A. A figure (C) shows the condition that an adapter 70 is installed in a left side latch receiver part 106, and width of the latch receiver part in this condition is formed as the same as the memory card 100A. |
