PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compound torque hinge which obtains large rotary torque even in small size and easily provides fine part mating, action accent, etc., relating to rotary moment of a switch unit of toilet seat, toilet cover, or the like. SOLUTION: This constitution comprises a rotary cylinder 4 provided capable of rotating in the periphery of a fixed shaft 3, cam mechanism 15 actuating a compression spring 11 for controlling rotary torque of the rotary cylinder 4 provided in the inside of this rotary cylinder 4, and a torsion spring 14 provided similarly in the inside of the rotary cylinder 4 to be activated in a direction negating rotary torque in a specific rotational direction of the rotary cylinder 4. In this case, the cam mechanism 15 can be constituted by a rotary cam 7 fixed to a partition provided in the rotary cylinder 4 while inserting the fixed shaft 3 to the central part, slide cam 9 opposed to this rotary cam 7 to insert the fixed shaft 3 to the center part to be made capable of sliding in an axial direction of the fixed shaft 3, and the compression spring 11 pressing this slide cam 9 to a side of the fixed cam 7. |
