<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily connect a pair of half cylindrical members to each other by using a pair of pliers after temporarily connecting them in a state that they are separated at a small distance before complete connection, when a pair of half cylindrical members are connected to each other. SOLUTION: A pair of half cylindrical members 1A, 1B for covering the half peripheries of a joint part of a pipe are provided with outward projecting flange parts 3A, 3B on both side edges. Locking pieces 4 to be locked on the flange parts 3B are formed on the flange parts 3A. Temporary fixing piece 6 to be hooked on the flange parts before a pair of half-cylindrical members are completely connected to each other are formed on the flange parts 3A. The temporary fixing pieces 6 are hooked on and temporarily connected to the flange parts 3B, and the projecting pieces 8 and the locking pieces 4 are pinched by a pair of pliers to completely connect them to each other.</p> |
