SOLUTION: The front part of the reflector 4 is turned downward only by a prescribed angle to incline the main beam of an image projected from the reflector 4 to the screen unit 2 downward from a horizontal state only by a required angleθ. Then a projector unit 3 is horizontally moved forward only by a prescribed distance Sa while holding its posture so that the main beam passes the center O of the unit 2. Since the main beam of the image projected from the center of the unit 2 on an upper display unit is inclined downward only by the prescribed angleθ, the brightness difference of pictures from upper and lower screen units 2 observed from an observer can be corrected. Since the projector unit 3 is only horizontally moved while holding its posture, the adjustment can easily and surely be executed.
