The quick release and fixing mechanism comprises a clamp (24) for holding the free end of the blade and a carriage (2) for tensioning the blade. The carriage can translate vertically in a fixed guide (3) under the action of a lever (4). The carriage comprises a casing (10) composed of two flanges (11) assembled by bolts (12). The flanges have symmetrical cam tracks (13) engaging the fingers of the lever cam (9). The lever has an operating handle (5) enabling the lever to rotate about a spindle (6) passing through the carriage into the flanges.
