PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate memory control and improve the efficiency in the use of memory when recording voice/video signals to memory together with control data. SOLUTION: Voice/video signals are converted to digital signals by an AD converter 1. This digital signal is compression-coded by a coder 2 to obtain coded packet data in a packet form. Prior to recording this data, control data of the data number, sampling rate, etc., relating to the coded data are generated as the control packet data in the form identical to coded data by a control data preparing section 4 to continuously record relating coded data in memory. |
