PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain speedy intention understanding and to translate various languages by one translation device by correcting a speech-inputted document in native language into word order which is proper grammatically or suitably for translation, and translating a documented sentence to a necessary national language and outputting it. SOLUTION: Desired words to be translated to a different national language are inputted in native-language speech to a speech input device 1. A speech decoding device 2 corrects the inputted words of the native language to word order which is proper grammatically or suitably for translation, and the documented made into sentence by the device 2 is translated by the translation device 3 into the necessary national language. The translated document is outputted by a speech output device 5. Namely, translation to a necessary language is performed by inputting a speech, and the translated sentence is vocalized. Therefore, the operator is freed from the trouble to input a document with character keys and the translated sentence is vocalized, so intention understanding more speedily than the read of characters is obtained. |
