PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the AV synchronous reproduction device in which synchronization between an audio component signal and a video component signal is matched even when resolution of a reproduction elapsed time of the reproduction device is low. SOLUTION: In this AV synchronous reproduction device, integrated audio (A) data amount is acquired from an A data counter 32, and a clock generating section 33 uses A header information and the A integrated data amount to calculate the reference time being a reproduction elapsed time from the start of the A reproduction till the current time. A delay detection section 34 uses a reference time and video (V) header information to calculate an ideal frame number of the V to be expanded and displayed substantially and acquires a real frame number expanded and displayed actually from a V frame counter 31 to compare the ideal frame number with the actual frame number thereby acquiring progress of the V with respect to the A. A de-framing control section 35 terminates its processing when the V is faster and applies expansion display processing to the V in the synchronous state and discriminates presence of de-framing execution when the V is slower.
