<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceiling-embeded type air conditioner in which at the time when a suction grill is at an upper limit position, rising operation due to mistaken operation of a remote controller is prevented, hence deterioration of the life of an electric motor and damage of a cord, and the like reduced. SOLUTION: When a suction grill 9 is lifted and makes contact with a decorative panel 5 a load of an elevating motor is steeply increased, and hence a consumed current is increased. Hence, an ECU forces the elevating motor to be elevated until a predetermined delay time is passed. Further, when a user pushes an elevation button 53 of a remove controller 51 by mistake after the suction grill 9 is contained in the decorative panl 5, the ECU outputs an interruption instruction to a motor driver and keeps the elevating motor to be interrupted. Hereby, there is eliminated the possibility of an unnecessary load being produced on the elevating motor and a suspension cord 13 and the like, and hence the life of the elevating motor is prevented from being reduced and the suspension cord 13 is prevented from being damaged.</p> |
