<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technology which can control the power consumption of a digital communication line interface circuit, according to the use state of a digital communication line. SOLUTION: An information processor is provided with the digital communication line interface circuit 170, which is connected to a digital communication line and transmits/receives data. A link state recognition circuit 171, recognizing a link state between the digital communication line interface circuit 170 and the digital communication line and a power consumption mode change circuit 180 changing the power consumption mode of the digital communication line interface circuit 170 according to the link state with the digital communication line recognized by the link state recognition circuit 171, are provided.</p> |
