PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manage menu information of a plurality of VOD(video on demand) servers unifiedly, to select menu information freely and to reconfigure it, to utilize the video image without notifying the location of a VOD server and to simply generate a digest video image being combinations of partial video images. SOLUTION: A plurality of VOD servers 3 storing and serving distributed video images via a network 4 re coordinated with an information service Web server 2 of the world wide web, the Web server 2 serves the menu of the plurality of the VOD servers 3 to a terminal 1 to view a video image to serve a script of information to control transfer of the video image of the VOD sever 3 by a file name attended with the menu.
