PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use a generally available household reproducing apparatus as a reproducing apparatus in an encoder system by which a reproducing signal is encoded. SOLUTION: An encoder device 7 and a reproducing-apparatus control part 10 are installed on the side of an encoder, and a control signal between the reproducing-apparatus control part 10 and a reproducing apparatus is transferred by means of an infrared communication by an infrared light-emitting part 11. When a control statement is issuded to the reproducing apparatus from the encoder device 7, a control part 25 at the reproducing-apparatus control part 10 reads out a control code corresponding to the control statement from a memory 24 so as to be sent out to the reproducing apparatus as an infrared signal, and the reproducing apparatus is controlled. |
