PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an inspection method in which a flexible teaching threshold value can be corrected and in which the fraction defective of a CD to be inspected can be reduced by making an initial teaching threshold value obtained by a first teaching operation correspond to the change in the image of a printed face on the CD to be inspected. SOLUTION: A CD 24 which is loaded from a loading stage 23 is printed at a first stage 25, a second state 26 and a third stage 27, a printed image on the CD 24 is photographed by an area camera 20 at an inspection stage 28, and a printing defect is discriminated by an image processor 31. At this time, before the prescribed inspection of a printed face on the CD is started, several CD's, to be inspected, whose printing operation is completed without any trouble are photographed by the camera 20, a definite image processing operation is executed, and an initial teaching threshold value is decided. During the flow of the inspection, the printed state of a CD label is judged by an operator, a correction factor is decided, and the initial teaching threshold value is corrected by using a prescribed expression. |
