PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a winding method for a split core, in which a space factor can be increased more than that in the conventional system and in which a regular winding operation can be performed. SOLUTION: A winding conductor 3 is wound on side faces 1f1 , 1f2 (laminated faces of steel plates, constituting a split core or faces along the lamination direction of the steel plates) at a core part 1b. At this time, the angleθof a nozzle 2 with respect to a central face 5 passing the center of a yoke part 1a, the core part 1b and a magnetic-pole-piece part 1c is decided in such a way that the nozzle 2 does not interfere with a split core 1. Then, the winding conductor 3 is wound on the core part 1b, so as to fill a gap S which is formed between the yoke part 1a and the magnetic-pole-piece part 1c, and a winding part 4 is formed.
