PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To start printing after a shortest waiting time in each paper position, even if a printing request signal arrives, when a fixing unit does not reach a temperature capable of starting the printing, by adopting a constitution in which the setting of the temp. at the time of starting picking is changed in each paper position, so that the fixing unit reaches a fixable temp., at the same time when a paper sheet reaches the fixing unit. SOLUTION: Control is started when a printing control part 2 receives the printing request signal emitted from a printer control part 1. The temp. rising until the paper reaches the fixing unit 4 from a picking position is defined as (x) and the prescribed temp. of the toner fixing unit is defined as (y). Where, the value of (x) is different according to the distance of a position where the paper is preserved from the fixing unit 4. The present temp. of the fixing unit 4 is compared with (y-x) and when the present temp. of the fixing unit 4 is higher, the picking of the paper is started to execute the printing. Thus, the fixing unit reaches the toner fixable temp., at the same time when the paper reaches the fixing unit and the printing can be attained in the shortest printing time from each paper position. |
