PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent operation efficiency from decreasing owing to the visual confirmation of character data inputted to respective item areas of a table and to secure the confirmation of the character data by decoding and converting the inputted character into voice data, and vocalizing the obtained voice data. SOLUTION: The character data are inputted to one item area specified with a cursor moving on a screen by the input of a mouse 2 by key input on a keyboard 1, so it is judged whether the execution of a voice reading process is specified. When the execution of the voice reading process is specified, retrieval from a voice data base file is performed with the inputted character data. Consequently, when character data matching the input character data is set in the voice data base file, the voice data corresponding to the voice data is read out, supplied to a voice output circuit 16, and vocalized through a speaker 6. Consequently, the character data in the table can surely be confirmed. |
