摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oscillating gyroscope having an adjusted resonance frequency without shaving an oscillation body. SOLUTION: An oscillator 12 of an oscillating gyroscope 10 includes an oscillation body 14 of a square pole shape. This oscillation body 14 includes a first piezoelectric substrate 14a and a second piezoelectric substrate 14b in such a manner as to be polarized in opposite thickness directions. On a main plane of the first piezoelectric substrate 14a, two split electrodes 16a and 16b spaced in width direction are formed in its lengthwise intermediate part. Also, a common electrode 22 is formed on a main plane of the second piezoelectric substrate 14b. A dummy electrode 24 is formed between the first piezoelectric substrate 14a and the second piezoelectric substrate 14b. A plated layer 26 is formed on the surface of the split electrode 16a in order to adjust resonance frequency.
