PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To unnecessitate a dedicated driver, external connecting cable, external source, etc., and to perform data transmission via the FDD driver of an application soft by connecting a floppy-disk controller to an FDD interface. SOLUTION: This card reader is equipped with the floppy-disk controller(FDC) 1 which is connected to the FDD interface on a computer side and performs the data transmission with the computer side using a signal matched with the track format of a signal used in a floppy disk(FD). A virtually set FD is had and a transmitting buffer 7 and a receiving buffer 6 are set thereto, and a program executed by the computer reads data stored in the transmitting buffer 7 via the FDC 1, and writes data to the receiving buffer 6. |
