MUTUAL CONNECTION MODULE OF EDGE CARD IN DATA COMMUNICATION STRUCTURE RELATED TO DATA RACK STRUCTURE AND ASSEMBLY CONSISTING OF DATA RACK, MUTUAL CONNECTION MODULE AND EDGE CARD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a data rack suitable for the transmittion of a high capacity data signal by providing the system with plural signal conductors for mutually connecting the terminals of a 1st group to the terminals of a 2nd group. SOLUTION: Each transmitter 16 and each receiver 18 are mutually connected to a light receiving terminal and a light transmitting terminal turned from two opposite side end faces to the outside by conductors in a housing. Each module 10 is mutually connected to another module 10 having the same constitution by a flat and flexible optical cable 32. In the simplest structure of the mutual connection structure 36, two modules 10 are arranged on separated and aligned positions substantially forming the same face together with a cable 32 extended between these modules 10. The structure is conveniently formed by forming a data rack 37 provided with an opened vertical wall 38 constituted of rigid metallic constitutional materials 40 mutually separated in parallel.
