PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a circuit function stably by making relative induction small between inductance elements. SOLUTION: In the electroless discharge lamp lighting device which comprises a high frequency electric power feeding coil 2, a high frequency power supply circuit 3 and a matching circuit 4 provided therein, in which the aforesaid coil is disposed to a place close to an electrodeless discharge lamp 1 where an discharge gas containing inert gas and metallic vapor, is sealed in a glass tube, the aforesaid circuit is to be connected with both the ends of the aforesaid coil that is formed up while at least more than three of inductance elements L56, L58 and L59 are contained, and the aforesaid matching circuit is connected with a part between the aforesaid circuit 3 and the aforesaid coil 2 so as to allow impedance matching to be performed, the impedance elements L56, L58 and L59 shall be disposed in such a way that the magnetic flux generating directions of them are almost perpendicularly intersected with each other among the adjacent inductance elements. |
