PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent any deficiency in sheets of paper in a paper tray caused by different printing output during the time from setting to printing output when a time-designation printing is set. SOLUTION: An image forming device having the time-designation printing function of storing an image and outputting it at a designated time by printing is provided with a residual paper sensor 8 for measuring the papers remaining on the paper tray 5 and a system control part 6 for calculating the number of the papers required for printing the image subject to the time-designation printing. When the different printing output is executed up to the designated time after the designation of time is set, the system control part 6 compares the papers remaining on the paper tray 5 with the number of the papers required for the time-designation printing, one after another. When the number of the papers remaining on the tray 5 is smaller than the of that papers required for the time-designation printing, an operator is informed that the papers are to be supplied. |
