PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the image forming system in which a state of a printer at a remote location is easily confirmed, the printer connecting to a network is set without installing the utility for environment setting for each printer to a host on each occasion and the state of the printer is confirmed by a dynamic image. SOLUTION: The system is configured by an image forming device and one terminal having a Web browser or over which are interconnected by a communication channel. A CPU 106 checks a state of the image forming device based on data described in a language of the html form outputted from the terminal, a program ROM 103 stores the check procedure and the result of the check is sent from a network I/F 105 to the terminal by data described in a language of the html form. |
