PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the display device in which noise due to a beat between a switching frequency and a horizontal deflection frequency hardly takes place and the range of a change in the horizontal deflection frequency is increased. SOLUTION: A high voltage generating circuit 10 is driven by a horizontal oscillation pulse or a pulse with a frequency twice that of the horizontal oscillation pulse. A chopper circuit 11, a horizontal deflection output circuit 12, and a power supply control circuit 14 are switched by the horizontal oscillation pulse, or the pulse with a frequency twice that of the horizontal oscillation pulse, or a pulse with a frequency four times that of the horizontal oscillation pulse. Frequency discrimination circuits 7, 8 discriminate the frequency of the horizontal oscillation pulse and selection circuits 4, 9 decide which frequency of the pulse is to be used. |
