SOLAR CELL MODULE WIRING CONNECTOR AND METHOD FOR CONNECTING IT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely connect a diode to the wiring of a solar cell module without requiring complicated operation and a space. SOLUTION: A connector 1 with a built-in diode is inserted and connected between the end of a cable 42 of the positive electrode of a block of a plurality of solar cell modules 40 connected in series and a ternary connector 5 connected to a base line 44. The connector 1 is water resistant, has a receptacle part at one end and a plug part at the other end and capable of easy insert- connection. Reverse flow of current due to electromotive force difference between the blocks of solar cell modules connected parallel can be prevented by inserting the diode in series. An insulator is firmly fixed at the leading edge of a contact pin in the outer cylinder of the receptacle of the connector 5 and is arranged at a retreated position from the leading edge of the outer cylinder. Thus, the operator is prevented from touching the charged part and construction can be safely carried out.
