Alarm associated with fire extinguisher

The alarm mechanism is wall attached, and has a stationary arm conact section (3) connected to an alarm (3). There is a bracket section (4) which slides on protrusions (5a) and is kept in contact with the fixed contact by the fire extinguisher. As close contact is needed between the two units, removal of the fire extinguisher raises the alarm.
