<p>A process is claimed for the temporary deactivation of an active hydrogen function(s) in a chemical compound, by deferring or retarding the reaction of the function(s) of the compound, of the group of polyols, polyamines, thiols and polyamides , in effecting a masking reaction with a silylating reagent to give a compound with a silylated active hydrogen. Also claimed, is a chemical composition comprising a masked compound and a second reactant, to form a final sealing product.</p> |
