FIELD: machine engineering, possibly equipment for metal cutting. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of measuring relative motion in cutting zone, forming control stimulus acting on cutter in dependance upon signal of relative motion equal to difference between signal of motion value of equivalent elastic system in cutting zone and feed back signal fed to cutter holder. Feed back signal is formed according to measured relative motion between blank and cutter holder. Control stimulus eliminates influence of dynamic characteristics of equivalent elastic system including dynamic characteristics of blank and cutting process itself.
