<p>A stencil printing apparatus is provided, which comprises a pressure chamber (C) the wall of which is partly constituted by a flexible sheet member (2), a mount (11) which is disposed in said pressure chamber opposite to said flexible sheet member and on which an article to be printed is placed, means (33) for supporting a stencil between said flexible sheet member and said mount, and means (4) for reducing pressure in the pressure chamber, in which said means for reducing pressure is an air pump which comprises a cylinder (41) connected to said pressure chamber and a piston (42) slidably disposed in said cylinder. Stencil printing can be quickly and readily effect by pressure reduction in the pressure chamber. The printing apparatus can be small-sized, lightweight and simplified as a whole, and is improved in operatability. <IMAGE></p> |
