Heat insulating damp-proof plaster-bearing building element for outside walls

A panel shaped upper part (1) consisting of foamed polystyrene or a similar material, which is rigidly connected with an insulation panel (2) of the same dimensions and made of e.g. fibrous material, has recesses (3), so that all water vapour diffusing out from the wall is carried off. The panel is provided with a groove (8) on its rear side (7) for installation purposes, and has a spring (10) on its opposite side (9). The recesses are introduced on the connection point to the insulation panel in regular spaced, open longitudinal channels in such a way that they are grouted across the entire panel length towards the insulation panel for taking the moisture. The channels do not impair the stability of the building element.
