FIELD: erection of pipe lines. SUBSTANCE: method consists in applying the enamel frit on outer surface of welded joint after section to be insulated is heated to mould enamel coat. Heating is effected with the aid of annular gas furnace whose burners are located at angle relative to line between burner and center of pipe. Description contains heating parameters and mathematical dependence of angle of inclination of burners on their distance to surface of pipe and its diameter. EFFECT: enhanced reliability.
