Condensation extractor for oil lubricated compressors, such as in cars

The extractor is used to draw off condensation from a compressor. It has main (3) and auxiliary (1) chambers, and pneumatic control equipment for relieving the pressure and for extracting the condensation. When the condensation level in the main chamber falls to a lower state (C), the pressure in the chamber is increased via a pressure pipe (2), a hole (13) and a pressure equalisation pipe (14). The chamber then fills and valves (9,10) are closed. A pressure relief valve (8) is closed automatically due to the downwards movement of a tappet (12), and the pressure in the pressure pipe can slowly escape through a throttle (15) to a condensation inlet valve (7), which then opens again, and the process can be repeated.
