Vehicle movement control system for stable cornering

The control system has a braking control (BC), providing a braking force for the front and rear wheels of the vehicle, for providing a stabilising force in dependence on the detected inclination of the vehicle relative to the vertical when cornering. The stabilising force may be provided by selective braking of the vehicle front wheels lying on the inside of the curve in dependence on the required slip rate.
