Length-adjustable telescopic element for table/chair legs

The telescopic element has an outer and an inner part. The inner part has partially circumferential grooves, at least one of which has a projecting ring. The ring (3) is open on one side. The axial position of the inner part (5) relative to the outer part (1) is limited in one direction by positive contact between the ring and the facing end of the outer telescopic part. The ring consists of spring steel. The outer part contains a sleeve, esp. of plastic, to guide the inner part, and form the positive connection.
