The operating controls allow selection of the required operating level from a number of successive operating levels, by using a corresponding number of touch-control sensors (Bi). These must be operated in sequence beginning with a start sensor (B1), until the sensor corresponding to the required operating level is reached, within a defined operating interval. The cooking zone may be selected by a second set of touch-control sensors (50-53).
