The method involves using a suspension device which is hung on the mine working support by hooks and chains so that one or more trusses (4) are inserted into the chain links with the purpose of accommodating sleepers (5). The sleepers serve for hanging or erection of water tanks. The truss hung in the chain strands (3) is provided with chain retaining slots (7) and a recess (8) for the sleepers at both ends.
