The air filter element is fitted on the inlet side of the radiator. It can consist of a mat of flexible material, typically incorporating plastics foam. The plastics foam can contain stiffening portions, preferably at the edges of the mat. The mat can be fixed to a support, and the radiator can be used for an engine driving a machine or an indoor transport vehicle.
