COKE DRY-QUENCHING PLANT

摘要

FIELD: dry quenching of coke in continuous unloading of quenched coke from quenching chamber. SUBSTANCE: discharging funnel 2 has nozzle 15 with valve 16 located inside chute 4 under funnel discharging opening 17. Installed on external surface of nozzle 15 are packets 18 forming closed annular channel 19. Channel 19 is communicated with gas circulation system by means of gas ducts 20. In performance of repair jobs, sector gates 22 are closed to cutoff coke flow from quenching chamber 1. After discharge of this coke, valve 16 is closed and gates 22 are opened. Next portion of coke fills funnel 2 and nozzle 15 up to valve 16 to form coke plug. Gases from coke plug are sucked through annual channel 19 and gas ducts 20. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 cl, 3 dwg
