PURPOSE:To enable the light source to cope with a wide range of local oscillating wavelength. CONSTITUTION:The light source is provided with plural semiconductor lasers 1-3 having a wavelength variable function, polarized wave preservation optical fibers 4-6 coupled respectively with the semiconductor lasers 1-3 optically and a polarized wave synthesizer 7 making radiating lights of the polarized wave preservation optical fibers 4-6 confluent. Each wavelength variable range of the semiconductor lasers 1-3 is set continuously in such a way that one lower limit is overlapped onto other upper limit. |
