PURPOSE:To attain both of higher luminance and higher uniformity of surface luminance. CONSTITUTION:A projecting part 26 is formed on the front surface of a light transmission plate 22 and a liquid crystal display display plate 21 is arranged on the projecting part peak surface (light exit surface) 29 of this projecting part. A light emitting diode 23 is arranged at the projecting part peripheral surface (light incident surface) 30 of the projecting part. Farther, the rear surface 27 of the light transmission plate is formed to an arc surface shape and a reflection layer 31 for reflecting the light entering from the light emitting diode to the liquid crystal display plate is formed on this arc surface. |
