The tube fixing process is applied to capillary tubes (3) of 2-5 mm external diameter fixed to part of a building. They are glued to the building surface. The tubes are at least partly coated with adhesive and fixed at preset spacing to a foil (or the foil may be coated with adhesive instead). The other side of the foil is stuck to the building surface. The foil is separated from the tubes at the edge at which the tubes end, and pulled away in the longitudinal direction of the tubes. The exposed part of the tubes is coated with adhesive and the tubes are stuck back to the wall.
