Closure edge safety rail for automobile automatic door

The safety rail has a number of contact elements, for operation of a switch for safety cut-out of the door operating drive upon contact of the closure edge with an obstacle. Each contact element has contact zones (3). The contact zones lie in contact with one another and with the contact elements on either side in the rest position of the contact element. The contact is released when pressure is applied. The axial force holding the contact zones in contact is provided by a spring (6).
