A composition for enhancing sports performance contains the following ingredients per 100g: 20mg Zn in salt form, 5mg Cu in salt form, 500mg L-phenylalanine, 500mg L-arginine, 500mg L-asparagine, 500mg taurine, 20mg vitamin E-acetate, 120mg vitamin C, 2.8mg vitamin B1, 3.2 mg vitamin B2, 4.0mg vitamin B6, 2.0mg vitamin B12, 0.4mg folic acid, 12mg of a pantothenate and 36mg nicotinamide, optionally together with water and/or food additives. Claimed preparation involves mixing the ingredients without water to give a powder.
