<p>Covering (A) used as a closure for infusion bottles (3) has a hole (9) as a penetration zone which is covered by a film section (16) of an extension cap (17). It is stretched as far as the lower edge (11) of the cap (1), and folded over. It is bonded to the cap (1). Also claimed is a mfg. process where two strips of deep drawing material are overlaid to pass under the die of a deep drawing tool. The strips are shaped into a cap structure and the edge flash is cut leaving the two cap sections bonded together.</p> |
