A vehicle door assembly comprises a door structure 50 in which various electrical components 58, 60, 62 are mounted, an interior casing on the interior side of the door, and a water shedder between the door structure 50 and the interior casing. The water shedder is formed from flexible support sheet 70 with copper tracks 68 applied to it, and a water proof sheet 52 to which the support sheet 70 is adhered.
