METHOD OF SLEEVE-TYPE CONNECTION OF PIPES

FIELD: sleeve-type connection of nonmetallic pipes. SUBSTANCE: sleeve is preliminarily fitted on one of pipes and is placed near tip and spiral is fitted on other pipe; pipes are connected by welding or bonding and spiral is placed in spiral groove of tip of first pipe locking the key in radial hole; then sleeve is moved in direction of joint and is screwed it on spiral till end of second pipe coincides with notch after which definite number of flexible load-bearing members are introduced into circular passage formed by grooves on pipe and sleeve through keyway; at final stage, sleeve is turned in direction ensuring axial compression tension in joint. EFFECT: enhanced reliability.
