FIELD: medicine, physiology, anthropology. SUBSTANCE: a shape of a socket is visually fixed at a thumb of left hand in males and right hand in females to state upon the presence of organic cardiac diseases, according to the size of a socket above 25-30% against the size of nail's body it is possible to state upon expansion of cardiac ventricles and atria, according to the size of a socket at a thumb less than 25-30% against nail's body and according the absence of sockets at other fingers it is possible to state upon tachycardia associated with incorrect functioning of thyroid gland, according to toothed and incorrect shape of a socket it is possible to state upon abnormal function and shape of cardiac valves, by the presence and size of nail's body darkening adjacent to a socket and by the presence of white-colored trace which remains after slight pressing upon middle part of nail's body one should state upon organic disorders and functional alterations in lungs, by the presence of darkening or reddening of area near free edge of nail's body and by the size of this area it is possible to state upon organic and functional changes in urogenital system.
