PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the cost of a back light device without requiring a lead wire and a long inverter circuit board by electrically connecting a fluorescent tube and the inverter circuit board via a shield sheet. SOLUTION: This back light device 1 is provided with a fluorescent tube 2, a reflector 3 reflecting the light of the fluorescent tube 2, a light diffusing plate diffusing the light from the fluorescent tube 2 and the reflector 3, an inverter circuit board 5 for the fluorescent tube 2, a shield sheet 6, and a frame 7. The frame 7 is made of a synthetic resin having an electric insulating property. The fluorescent tube 2, reflector 3, light diffusing plate 4, and shield sheet 6 are assembled on one-side face of the frame 7. The shield sheet 6 is made of a copper foil or the like, and the inverter circuit board 5 is assembled on the shield sheet 6 via an insulating sheet 11. |
